why the cross?

Every group needs an “Encourager” because everyone needs encouragement at one time or another. However, the value of encouragement is often missed because it tends to be in private rather than public. People need encouragement when they feel most alone. I am drawn to people who I can encourage.
It is delightful that whenever Christians are encouraged, non-Christians flock to become believers.
I strive to use my gift for the Glory of the Kingdom; but I can’t be everywhere at once, but I know the Spirit of the Lord can. That is why I am led to choose this project. I truly don’t think anyone can see a monument of this magnitude and not become aware of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ has made for everyone of us. Believers as well as non-believers cannot see this cross and not be impacted even for a moment.
My part in this project is to be the visionary and organizer until someone greater than I can bring it to reality. People all over the U.S. and the World have done this before I ever was prompted to bring this project to the area. Now it’s up to everyone in this area to perpetuate this to a conclusion.

If so show your support by signing up to volunteer your time and/or funds to further the cause to reach lost souls or maybe just someone who is still searching for answers. My prayer is that when anyone drives past this monument the Holy Spirit will do a work that no man can take credit for. He has done it for me; will you give Him the opportunity to change your life?
The size of this project will take an enormous effort across Denominational, Congregational, and even International lines.
Can we as the whole body of Christ, His Church here on Earth, in the Louisville Metro area have the desire, the fortitude, and the stamina to show what we can do?
Give Him the Glory!
Be just a small part in His grand plan for His people to come together as one body, to further His Kingdom!
Help build this monument. Allow His Spirit to reach those who He has chosen. Be that witness; tell what the cross means to us. Let it do the same for others whose heart is receptive. Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and me. Will you pay a small price to see this monument built to reach the lost, the dying, and the hopeless; let the Holy Spirit do His part to change their lives, I will!
